Inclement Weather Notice
As of 12:30 p.m. today the National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch until 8p.m. tonight. The watch includes ten counties including San Patricio and Nueces.
In the event that a funnel cloud is spotted near the Sherwin Plant, please seek shelter immediately in the closest designated Shelter in Place building.
Please continue to monitor the conditions and stay tuned for further updates on this inclement weather watch.

Inclement Weather Notice (Update 3)
As of 4:43 p.m. San Patricio County continues to be under a Flood Warning, but the Severe Thunderstorm Warnings and Watches have expired.
New or Updated Road Conditions are listed below:
TxDOT says State Highway 136 in San Patricio County is re-opened; while State Highway 188 from Farm-to-Market Road 1069 to Farm-to-Market Road 631 in both Aransas and San Patricio Counties is closed due to high water.
- FM 2511 in Refugio County: Closed from FM 136 to FM 1360
- SH 286 (Crosstown Expressway) at County Road 14. Road is still passable, but drivers should use caution.
- High water has closed roads in Gregory – US 181, Spur 202, FM 3284.
As the areas begin to clear, please use your judgment upon making your way into work and do not try to clear standing water.

Inclement Weather Notice (Update 2) Rv2
As of 11:02 am this morning weather reports still indicate that San Patricio County is under a Flash Flood Warning, the Severe Thunderstorm warning has been reduce to a watch at this time.
Road conditions vary throughout the area, but the following roads have been reported as high water or flooding:
- Spur 202 and FM 3284 in Gregory are flooded.
- FM 893 (Moore Ave) @ Memorial Parkway in Portland is flooded.
- US 181 in Taft is flooded.
- FM 624 @ US 77 is flooded. Intersection closed by CCPD.
- I-37 SB exit under US 181 (between old Nueces County Courthouse and Caller-Times) is flooded.
- I-37 @ Carbon Plant Road is flooded.
- Interstate 37 is flooded from Lantana Street north and the bases of the Harbor Bridge are flooded, Nueces County Sheriff’s Office dispatcher Tommy Chavez said.
- US 181 around North Beach as having flooding problems. Several intersections and turnarounds near the Nueces Bay Causeway.
- IH 37 and Brownlee Underpass
- Crosstown Expressway and Leopard Underpass
- Southbound Crosstown Expressway Frontage near Coleman Sr and Hancock
- Northbound Crosstown Expressway Frontage near Morgan St.
- Northbound Crosstown Expressway 286 Frontage at Buford
- In Corpus Christi, the following streets have had flooding problems reported to Corpus Christi police:
- 1102 S. Shoreline
- 3734 Brookhill
- Morgan and 25th Street
- Morgan and 19th Street
- Ruth and 19th Street
- McKinzie and Haven
- Hwy 77 SB/Northwest Boulevard Flyover
- Ayers and 7th Street
As the areas begin to clear, please use your judgment upon making your way into work and do not try to clear standing water.

As of 9:20 am this morning weather reports still indicate that San Patricio County is under a Flash Flood Warning and a Severe Thunderstorm Warning.
TxDot is not reporting any road closures at this time, but there are some delays on FM 3284 from State Highway 35 to Spur 202 which is flooded.
Spur 202 from U.S. Highway 181 to State Highway 35 is also flooded.
As the areas begin to clear, please use your judgment upon making your way into work and do not try to clear standing water.

Inclement Weather Notice
(8:36am) As of 7:50am this morning severe weather has and is currently moving through the Portland, Gregory and surrounding areas. If you are not already on the road please use your judgment and do not attempt to travel the roads unless you can see clearly and do not have to go through standing water.
Lights are out at the Sherwin Road and 361 crossing and many other locations throughout the cities; use extreme caution upon entering if you must cross traffic.
We are also under a Flash Flood Warning, if you were planning on driving or needing to leave the plant please STAY PUT until further notice. We have already received around 5.1 inches of rain and there is more to come, so stay tuned to this blog, our 1-888-328-8030 hotline and your company email for more information.
